Well the lag will occur on some “high-speed” internet connections, depending on the quality and speed of said connection, I used to play call of duty 4 on my 360, voice chatting while surfing the internet on my computer with zero lag on either device. However in that scenario my 360 was directly connected to the router with a wired connection. It was on a 6mb cable connection.
You can but splitting the internet between something that takes up a ****-ton of bandwith like a 360 and something else could cause severe lag, just warning you.

Yeah, that’s why they have both wired ports and a wireless radio.
