I know the psp vita is supposed to be insanely compatible with the ps3 but would i be able to play skyrim, or modern warfare 3 online with it?
That would probably be the only reason id get the vita

I doubt Skyrim would make it to the Vita, as the Vita is not powerful enough to handle it. Skyrim is a heavily resource-intensive game. But there is a Call of Duty game coming for the Vita, maybe not MW3 but it will be a Call of Duty game.
I doubt the vita will have the memory needs to play a huge game like skyrim.
